For about 20 years, he has worked in emergency medicine at Funabashi Municipal Medical Center in Chiba Prefecture, treating about 10,000 people's hearts, day and night, with the front lines treating life-threatening cases such as myocardial infarction.

After hearing the words of a bereaved family member who said, "Until yesterday, there was nothing wrong... and then suddenly collapsed...", he realized the importance of preventive medicine, and opened "Sugioka Clinic" in May 2014. He aims to be "a clinic where you can feel relieved and smile when you come here", and provides advanced medical care with a specialized cardiovascular team.

In addition, between his medical appointments, he provides preventive medicine management of eating habits, lifestyle habits, and other aspects to many people.

In October 2021, Sugioka Clinic Takanedai opened in Funabashi City as its second clinic.
