Customer brought me the 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser they just had purchased. What do we find with this 14 year old SUV with over 100K miles?

People want you to do all the service there because in that climate, a car will effectively last forever.

they never should have stopped making them

It stands to reason that you'd have more people in NM wanting to get services done, considering the overall life expectancy of the vehicles compared to Kansas where they're more prone to rust out before service intervals are necessarily a factor.

I'm stoked that this move has been such a positive thing for you and Mrs. Wizard. Keep the videos coming!

The underside of these last generation Toyota Trucks look like military vehicles compared to modern trucks with plastic oil pans and cardboard "skid plates"...

Love my 2014 6 speed manual. The manual changes the game completely. Full time 4WD! Amazingly fun and great handling.

I’m 6’3 and don’t have any issues with my knees getting bonked

They are basically Prados underneath. . . not LC 200s. . .

Simple tech, no turbo, I love it

Perhaps people want their old cars to last a long time since they new cars have gotten more expensive and complex

I owned 2 of them. Miss them both.

Theory! Kansas has rust. Nobody wants to care for a car that is going to rust out before a major driveline failure from lack of maintenance.

I have a 2022 - the last year they were produced. Only 25,000 miles on it. Worth almost as much as I paid for it new. Fantastic truck. I don't think I'll ever sell it.
