3:52 Not really, it's not a game, its straight up playing the shooter's memories directly into his brain.

Omg I can't believe Sora is watching cyberpunk edge runners 😭😭

100% at the end of the  series, Sora gonna go PTSD....

Maybe some terminology needs to be addressed
BD = brain dance, a virtual recording from somebody who actually experienced it and the viewer not only sees it but feels it
Choom = dude, man, buddy, homie
Choomba = more familiar or affectionate
Gonk = idiot, dumbahh, moron, stupid
Eddies = EDs or euro dollars, money
Chrome = cyberware
Borg or Borged = when somebody is more cyberware than human
Cyberpsycho = somebody who has implanted so many cybernetics that it affect them mentally driving them crazy
Nova = cool or awesome
Chipped = meaning, installing cyberware
XBD = a brain dance containing explicit material, usually illegal
ICE = is a military grade cyber security
Max-tac = basically a military police force specialized in anti cyber attacks
City Meat wagons = the "free" or cheap medical care for emergencies, but as you saw the care is limited leading to people usually dying in transit, hence "meat wagon"
Platinum plan = is a medical plan only the rich can afford. It's basically having a private military grade police force specialized in medical care. They have military training and weaponry for the exact reason of them being targeted by gangs that they act as an extraction team to get the client out of danger and provide any medical care they need. Hospital with a private military more or less

The thing at the beginning David was watching was an XBD of a shooting committed by the man with the spine implant

The moment when the shooter's implant malfunctioned was max-tac hacking his implants and knocking him out momentarily

oh you are up for a ride 🤣

nobody leaves Night City.....

The spinal implant, "sandevistan", doesn't slow down time. It increases the wearer's speed and their perception is faster too.

17:15 If i recall correctly there is a theory that might be true but the doctors noticed that davids mom has all real healthy organs without any cybernetic implants in them and killed her to harvest and sell them and covered it up by saying that her conditioned nosedived overnight/

I love cyberpunk Edgerunners it’s such a good show

YES CYBERPUNK EDGERUNNERS my favorite

Sora has been on a roll with her reaction choices, love it

Oh you are in for quite a ride with this one! This anime is an emotional rollercoaster, and it actually got many people to try out a game too

From what I have heard, the director of second upcoming season has done a specific episode and first season, and now since hes directing the second season, its promised to be, well... a lot more what first season offers. Double the rollercoaster basically

I still can't believe there's a season 2 coming

Sora would probably love Black Lagoon

Bruh this episode always make me cry cuz I can sympathize with David so much. Especially with his mom cuz my mom was always working growing up and she sacrificed so much just give me and my sister a better chance.

All the augments that people in this universe will increase their abilities to insane degrees and in some cases make them nightmares for others that have similar “chrome” because they completely lose their minds and become “Cyber Psychos” where they attack anyone and everyone around them. In this universe you can buy copies of peoples memories and experience them yourself (like in the beginning with that Cyber Psycho) with an entire underground network of buyers, sellers and the ones who download those. You’re in for a Nova time Choom.

yes yes enjoy your 9 happy episodes

I'm ready to go through this again, at least with sora lol

I'm not ready for this again, I don't wanna cry 😭

We are having a moment
Here seen peak reaction
