Case Background: Madeline Soto was last seen on February 26th, 2024. Her body was found five days later in a wooded area less than an hour from home and her mother's boyfriend was arrested. Stephan Sterns's phone revealed disgusting evidence of what he has been doing to Madeline since she was at least 8 years old. He has been charged with her murder and over 60 CSAM-related charges and faces the death penalty, if convicted.

Instructing your child to go to bed with a 37 year old man should be a charge of child endangerment & abuse...this cannot possibly be ignored by LE.

It makes me so mad to hear her say sex with him hurt and was painful yet he was doing despicable acts on that poor child. Then she talks about how Maddie was always constipated. It makes me sick to think that poor child had to endure those things.

Single mom of five here. I sleeps in laundry room so my kids have rooms. In past rentals I slept in the livingroom. Kids come first. Sleep comes last.

The Woody Allen thing strikes me because it sounds like she’s blaming the child for “falling for” a grown up. She strikes me as a mother who would blame her child for the abuse.

I'm single, but I would be so embarrassed to say my man doesn't have a job and likes to play with and collect kids toys in his spare time. Being single is not a sin, ladies.

When JS was shown the pics of Maddie in the car & the cop tells her that Maddie isn't sleeping, a normal Mom would break down screaming/crying. I'd totally lose it! How can she even be speaking coherently?

With a mother like Jen, Maddie had no chance. Even after being shown her daughter being sexually abused, she still believed in Stephen's innocence. Look at what it took for her to pretend to believe Stephen is a monster. I 100% think Jen knew!

Although their needs, desires, and personalities differ greatly, make no mistake about it. Jenn Soto is every bit the psychopath that Stephan is. Zero ability to feel real human emotion like empathy, guilt, shame, and grief. And couldn’t muster up one single wet tear or become uncontrollably enraged at Stephan after being shown photos of Maddie most likely “unalived” by Stephan himself.

Jen IS LIABLE for what happened to Madeline. Period.

I am a retired PD/Fire/Medical Dispatcher. This has to be one of the top 5 cases I know of with a top level predator/abuse. SS buzzed right in when he saw JS was all about herself and getting a boyfriend. Her horrific and neglectful parenting coupled with selfishness allowed this right in front of her. Incredible. Just Incredible. When it's her time, JS is gonna get hers by the public or in jail (where she WILL be at some point) after the D.A. is done using her against SS.

I have 3 grown daughters. If ever one of them was so sleepy they had to sleep in the car on a 10 minute drive to school I would think they were sick and keep them home!
