Absolutely, 100% the best episode EVER on this pod cast.

I'm so glad we've come to a point where it's okay to talk about mental health. It gives us(especially older people) a chance to even recognize what one may be dealing with.

Can’t thank you enough! OCD is exhausting, cruel, and frustrating. Having it doesn’t mean you aren’t human. It’s real & with Billy Bob & you speaking vulnerably HELPS! Keep doing this. Go NOCD!

Great episode. I had no idea about Billy Bob having OCD. I learned so much from all 3 of you.
Maybe next time Billy Bob will have a part on Landman created just for you!!
I hope you have him back again soon, Howie.

Thank you so much for this conversation. The part of it being so exhausting is so true. It really is. It’s very lonely too because it’s all in your head so to hear other people talking about the specific weird nuances is very comforting.

I just wanted to say thank you for making this episode. You would think the Advent of technology and social media and having any information that you are seeking or want to seek at the fingertips immediately in today's world making things more accessible and easier to understand. But in my household it was never that way and it still isn't. And I saw this episode and I literally had to make a deal that I will not put any YouTube comment section for my parents to watch it, and at the end of it both of them in their own way separately and separate times found me alone and came up to me and gave me a hug and cried and told me they love me and told me that they were sorry that they never understood and they never took serious. And they get it now. So I just wanted to say thank you for making this episode and talking about the subject matter that you talked about... Because it opened the eyes to two people who refused to open theirs for 39 years. Regardless of what some professional or some doctor or something a very prestigious person would tell them. Something about this episode struck a chord with them and they now look at me completely different and now they have empathy and it brought us closer together. So I just wanted to say again thank you

Billy Bob is awesome! Love his work!

Love when Howie does an episode where he’s mostly genuine and peppers the interview with humor, because he’s such a genuinely good interviewer and when it’s only “bit talk” the whole time, it doesn’t always draw me in. This was absolutely great!

This was one of my most favourite episodes!! Love Billy Bob!

Thank you for raising awareness and sharing more details about this terrible illness, and for explaining how mentally and physically exhausting it is to suffer from OCD. I would love for you to share how this illness can take over one's life—to the point of requiring hospitalization—depriving them of the things and people they love. When I see advertisements about cancer or other diseases, I wonder why there are none about OCD—and why we aren't raising funds to find a cure. My 13-year-old daughter had to be hospitalized due to anxiety and OCD. Desperate and heartbroken—and after having gone through five different facilities where they were unable to help her and her symptoms worsened day by day—she was transported by ambulance to a residential treatment center specializing in anxiety and OCD for adolescents, as her illness made it impossible for me—her mother—to be near her due to her fears of contamination. This health journey continues, and I pray to God to work a miracle of complete healing for her.

Thank you guys for being so open about OCD. I am in my 50’s, and I have OCD as well. I did not have a label for it until I was in my 20’s. Discovering that I was not alone was one of the best days of my life.

Thank you for this podcast episode. This is me 100%. It’s so important to talk about it. I have OCD and this has made me feel overwhelmed with emotion.

Howie ,
Your shows are always entertaining, but I’m putting this one down as a favorite. Appreciate you sharing it. Billy Bob, I look forward to your movies, and I think I might listen to your music just to see what you’re all about. It sounds like my jam.”
