Fun fact: Matthew Lillard said he used to scream his voice out while in his car parked outside the set. He actually learned to do the voice better after the first movie.

Linda Cardellini as Velma really awakened something in all of us, she’s incredible

the true villain of Daphne & Velma was the wig department

Scooby: "Are you cheating on me?"
The fact this was a line from one of the CARTOONS makes it all the funnier

"Yeah, this is Billiam"

- Billiam in "Billiam" on the channel Billiam

The “brainwash” bit is actually them trying to train the monsters on how to act like normal teens. I think the joke is just that it wasn’t working because the monsters are so dumb, so they gave up.

OGs remember when this was titled ’|Billiam’

15:38 the biggest impact the Velma show will have is finally ending the Scrappy hate. Her character was so unliked that Scrappy killing her off  in the finale was met by cheers and celebration from the fans online

I think Monsters Unleashed is the most Scooby Doo feeling. It's not perfect but I still think it's great 🤣

In Scooby Doo (2002) there is a scene where we see smoke billowing out of a vent atop the Mystery Machine, while Scooby and Shaggy are heard giggleling inside (aluding to the two smoking weed). It later cuts to the interior of the van, only to show that Scooby and Shaggy are actually toasting sandwiches. While this happens, the song "Pass The Dutchie" by British reggae band Musical Youth can be heard. This is notable because the song "Pass The Dutchie" is actually a cover of the song "Pass the Kouchie" by Jamaican reggae band the Mighty Diamonds. While the original song is about a group of people passing around a joint (Kouchie), the cover by Musical Youth changes the meaning of the song to be about food, as a group of people are described passing around a Dutch pot (Dutchie) during a picnic. While the change was made as a way of censoring the original song, since then, the word Dutchie has become slang for weed. This acts as a perfect parallel to the weed/food subversion in the movie.

Bravo, James Gunn.... Bravo....

I had originally written this on r/shittymoviedetails, but I decided to leave it here too...

When Shaggy drank the Strength Potion after the Female Potion, he should have turned into a Buff Woman, just saying.

I’ve been to Spooky Island! it was filmed on Moreton Island in Queensland, Australia. the facades are all gone but the buildings remain and have been turned into tourist spots. You can drive quad bikes across the beach where the Voodoo hut was and there’s a real life shipwreck you can snorkel!

It’s still pretty weird to think there were Live action Scooby doo films past the first two .

0:50 I'm sorry, what? There was a little wizard man terrorizing malls earlier in 2024? How am I just now finding out about this from Billiam? Lol

So to explain the brainwashing haunted house, it's more so a training facility to try and help the demons integrate back into society, as Scrappy's plan was to take over the world using his demon replacement plan.

I'm also with you on the Luna Ghost looking awesome.  Having a ghostly jester/clown is just a perfect choice for a Scooby monster and its design so beautifully terrifying.

To this day, I don't think anything says "studio note" to me more than the burping/farting contest lol. Like, you're right, of COURSE they probably used to make a giant sandwich in that scene

26:06 In 2024, Coolsville being in Ohio never felt more correct

hell yeah, i love "| Billiam"
