Its incredible to think that the people dumping, pooping and covering their rubbish would have had no concept at all of some dude digging their detritus up for an audience on a social media channel! Time and history are just so amazing!

Tom I really like youre show. I grew up listening to storys about North Dakota, My father was born above the Dakota Drug store in  1927 in Valley City N.D .  I dont know if it was a doctors office or someones home. Listening to youre show brings back memories I have long forgotten even peoples names. I wish my father was here so I could turn youre show on for him. thanks

It's so fascinating to see bottles and dishes coming up and knowing that a hundred years ago they were in someone's home being used. And if you're fortunate enough, like you said, to have relatives that lived back in the day in that same area, it's like a small window into their life, even if they weren't the ones using that particular bottle. You know that these same kinds of bottles were in their home too. Fascinating!!

You two make my boring Saturday nights tolerable. Thank you for caring so much about our past homesteads .

Thanks,Tom and the off camera gang...
As usual,a very good post....🕊️

You're the best of the diggers!  Thank you for making  watchable videos! ❤

how does this channel only have 68,000 subs?

There's only one other channel where I thumb up before watching the video. :D

Your channel is awesome I grew up in Yankton South Dakota I  seen you found some bottles from Yankton 😊

@6:54 - husband’s family is from Harvey/Martin area of Sheridan Cty. I was curious if you ever dug there or found artifacts from the area.  Cool find.

Do you ever save the broken plate pieces?  They would be great to make a mosaic table top.

The short food product bottles with ridges toward the bottom may be for meat paste. You see a lot of similar bottles in videos of UK digs.

Looks like the lady of the house did a laundry business to me. All the bluing bottles for brighter whites, all the ointments/vaseline bottles took care of all the skin problems with using the soaps, Had to have a nip at the end of the day to ease the aching body after day. lol It's my story and I'm sticking to it. lol Great finds though, love the blue milk glass and opalescence pitcher. I bet those were beautiful back in the day. Have a great day and happy digging

My wife and I really enjoy your Chanel. It’s been a while since I had the opportunity to dig for treasures.
Each time we watch a video of yours I get the urge to go and find a go site. Thanks for sharing.

Love the history. My family immigrated from Norway to Harvey and Manfred.
