As an 50 years old hip hop head there's nothing like the 90's rap. There will never be.

I'm a 53 year old white metal head. I remember this song when it first dropped. I know every word to it.

"I'm only 19 but my mind is older" - RIP Prodigy

These dudes from this era, were the same age a lot of these "drill rappers" are today. Let that sink in. Their penmanship and the substance they had in their music was CRAZY at that age.

This beat was used for the freestyle scene at the end of 8 Mile. This beat is iconic. Lives rent free in my head forever.

Look up Mobb Deep ft. Lil Kim " Quiet Storm"

@shadelseven704 1 year ago

His name is Havoc he's a producer, he's living right now a days, never got into trouble or none of that, the first one is prodigy, he passed away, he did some time for a gun about 3 and half years. Mob Deep is a legendary rap group out of Queens NY, you should react to more of their music, they have a large catalog, all grimey music.

This Mobb Deep Album Changed the Game in 1995 Lyrical Street Hip hop Music. ( you can play it straight through) Havoc was the producer/ Rapper and prodigy ( RIP) was the lyrical grimy street MC.. They catalog of music is straight dope.
