Galloping Horses Toy Build

Rick Mayotte

A small wooden pull toy that has two horses that seem to race each other as they bob up and down when they are pulled forward. This toy is built from some of the scrap wood that I endlessly collect from other projects.

I watched this video 5 or 10 years ago I forgot, but I have made hundreds of these and give them away, nice to see people still enjoying this video in 2024

I love this and plan to make it for my grandbabies and for Samaritans purse shoeboxes for Christmas. Thank you for sharing.😁

Thanks so much for sharing your build! I just finished building this for my niece for Christmas and it turned out wonderful thanks to your detailed video. I made one horse out of maple and the other from walnut and the wheels from cherry.

Thank you. I’m going to make this for my niece for Christmas but instead I’ll make them unicorns. She loves unicorns.

Love it. If you son saw real horses, it would have lovely to emulate real colours. The manes and tails are epic. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Rick....I seen your video and was inspired to make one for my Grandson..... a little tricky with lining up the wheels to prevent sticking but I managed to get it working.....
