Thank you. Good video. Nice to hear someone praising the sling mounting arrangement on the .275 instead of whinging that the rifle does not have—Paul Jaeger style—QD sling mounts. Beautiful rifles and an excellent assortment of images.
Wow, the folks at Rigby have made a classic series of firearms; if I win the lottery one day, some Rigby rifles will certainly make their way into my gun safe, lol! That case for the 416 was a piece of functioning art itself, very impressive design and build quality!
Another winner, sir, this time with new-old beauties! Rigby is certainly back in the game, as is Mauser. Apparently quite a few new hunters are seeing the simple rugged utility of these beautiful old classic rifles. May they continue to swell the ranks of your subscribers! Good to see you are also blessed with a son who shares your passion for the hunt. I look forward to the shooting sequel for these modern masterpieces! Thank you again, my friend, and Godspeed!
Hello Again! My daughter made a quick trip to London's Rigby office 4 years ago at my request. The staff was amazed that an American girl would be familiar with a London gunmaker. When she told them I sent her (due to my cerebral palsy disability it is difficult for me to travel) they gave her a personal tour and a dram of brandy! A couple of weeks later, a custom-made .275 Rigby came for me in the mail as a token of appreciation from Rigby!!! No brag, just fact. This is a wonderful video; your .416 is truly beautiful. It reminds me of Harry Selby's "Skittini". Your son's rifle is a very elegant and functional piece. The cases for each are works of art in their own right. Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!
Wonderfully crafted rifles. I personally can't justify buying a new Rigby but I enjoy seeing others who have them and put them to good use. I'm in process of acquiring a pre-WW1 DWM commercial sporting rifle in 7x57 that's still in very good condition. That will be enough for me.
I enjoyed this video very much and found it to be quite informative and I’ve just now subscribed. I’m seriously considering the purchase of the Rigby Big Game Rifle also in 416 calibre. The price is within my budget. I’m also considering the Heym model 88b in 450-400 3 inch. I’m planning to go on my first African Safari in 2025. I have a question if you don’t mind. Once the order is placed how long does it take to receive the finished Rigby rifle?
