Perfect for me...not too flashy, not too loud, not too heavy and super comfy. just blend in to the road and enjoy the ride for years and years and years 😊
Kawi did such a good job with this engine. In '15 they did different cam, headers and tune to get that torque almost peak at 4k rpm and with the close ratio short gearing these are quick. So many people whine about its sound and not being a 270 and beats the bigger more powerful MT07 in 0-60mph cuz its better balanced and can rev quicker/higher. And this is the best handling chassis in any street bike Iv ever ridden. My only issue is these are cramped for tall guys
Got my first bike recently,a 21 ninja 400. An tbh,I'm kinda happy I went with the 400 over the 650. Idk the 650 just seems kinda idk just preferred the 400
This bike seems to be very polarizing. They sell alot but if you see online opinions often are not great. It does seem to be an all around good bike though and for a good price. Hey if you get the chance to try a ninja/z 500 it would be nice to hear your comparison. A new 500 full kit is putting out almost 60hp and some say it takes away from what the 650 offers in power. Taker easy!
How to say this?? I'm very interested in these kind of bikes but i found the area where the tank, the seat, and my groceries meet to be uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable. How does this Kawasaki do in that reguards. I've been riding HD Roadglide. Been coast-to-coast and everywhere in between on that. Now i just want something agile and capable for in city commute. Without bruising the berries and banana.
I’m just not a fan of the Kawai 650 engines. They are the Camry or Accord of motorcycles. Definitely will get the job done… but VERY meh. 180 degree crank. Not much character at all. Just my opinion. But if I was looking at a commuter… Versys 650 all day.
