Your GRCMastery course allowed me to speak intelligently about risk. I’m not finished with the course, but I leveraged my experience in IT Operations and the knowledge from my CC cert and your course to pass the first and second interviews for the role I started last week as a risk analyst.

I like this kind of vlogging your just stating facts and truth about the industry, this is worth to follow channel

Multiple Choice exams are slowly becoming obselete due to the era of new certs being introduced that provides people with hands-on examinations to show proof to employers that you can actually do the job

I trust your judgement because you are not just criticising the certification you are saying the truth about the industry

Great insight, totally agree that passing a MC-exam doesn't say much!

i'm  a sensitive middle aged man and i like this content

I don't have any certification but I study every new CISSP, it creates mindset no Hands-on course can do. Security mindset is the number one priority, tools hands-on and technicality comes later. No firewall expert can understand all aspects of information security.
Not supporting CISSP at all at that high cost but complete the course before starting hands-on.

Thank you youtube. U recommend me the right video at the right time

Thanks you so much for adding Bangla Audio ❤❤.
BTW, your info & comments are really helpful

Thanks for speaking out loud what I was doing. I was prepping for these Certs thinking I could land a job, so far i haven't received any interviews(Completed ISc2 CC). This video has broadened my view and set my roadmap. Thank you again

The ISC2 & ISACA part is so true. People trying to pretend with each other that it holds value and it has very high recognition when in reality it gives zero practical knowledge and skills to actually do the job, conduct risk assessments and day to day governance work. All of that actually comes with learning from actual work experience and real world application. Even though I’m still entry level, I whole heartedly agree that the only way forward in this industry is that hands on practical work trumps every certification and being able to discuss actual scenarios and do the real work is where people should focus on.

HUH!!!! yeah man, the only thing that saved myself from all these, I didn't had fees! otherwise I could've thrown money at some!!! Thanks boss, I am here as someone who've always wanted to go into cybersecurity!!!

Thank you so much brother.

Totally agreed with your analysis

Best reveal for me yet. I'm a 48yr old newbie that wants to maximise my time and resources. This is hyper motivating. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Sir for better advice
