And there are people who say he can't win an 8th world title, yes he lost to Higgins this year in the last 16 but in 2027 and 2028 he has two genuinely good chances to win it if he plays close to this amazing standard.

I can't help but to be in awe of the effort of Wakelin. To go down 2-0 with Ronnie making a 147 and 142 in the first two breaks to bring it back to 3-3 is a feat of unbelievable will to win. Ronnie is the GOAT but Wakelin seems unshakeable.

What an absolute visual treat to see the World's Greatest Snooker player play at this level of compentence!

OMG so many people don't understand what it takes to rack up a maximum.
Every single shot basically inch perfect. If not, then a heroic shot follow-up.
Either way is a lot like bowling a 300. Then turning around and bowling another 300. GOAT

best ever, a hat trick, with 2 maximum, 147, 147, 134, what a legend

Seems that many of the amazing breaks O'Sullivan has had in the past couple years have happened against Wakelin. He handles it very well.

I don't think I've seen a worse shot in my life than that missed red from Wakelin after Ronnie fouled on the yellow.

"He's the maximum man. He's a genius! "

If only we could here those words again coming out of the mouth of the late great, John Vergo.

Una partida memorable, para volver a ver de vez en cuando, dos veces 147 en la misma partida creo que es la primera vez que se ha hecho, un récord más para el mejor jugador de todos los tiempos...
