I can’t wait for Carls nice calm explanation of the level intercut with peoples mad screams playing through it

I love how he redid the intro several times cos it wasn't good enough, then the editor made sure the absolute worst one was used to start the video XDDDD

On the twelfth day of Geekmas my true Larl gave to me 12 twomps a sniping, 11 spikes a throwing, 10 steps a stepping, 9 springs a springing, 8 pipes a spewing, 7 sees a sawing, 6 Lemmys Balling, 5 Golden Swings, 4 moving vines, 3 twisty friends, two turtles boxed and a red coin in a bumper tree.

do you remember when Carl said that he wanted a creator to make a troll level where whenever you get trolled you have to travel all the way back to the previous checkpoint to die?

Well, he did it himself

@nocturnalglalie4380 4 years ago

Did Carl just combine the twelve days of Christmas song with the "troll level where every anti-softlock forces you to go back to the beginning for a single spike" idea he has talked about before?

I love how this level rewards the people who fall for the trolls or are simply less skilled, because it lets them practice those sections that are hardest to reach and causing the most stress once you are at the final checkpoint.

Official lyrics (sung by Tanuki Dan):

Twelve Thwomps a-succing
Eleven Spikes a-spitting
Ten ledges leaping
Nine babies bouncing
Eight mushrooms marching
Seven sees a-sawing
Six Lemmys laying
FIVE GOLDEN SWINGS
Four-letter words
Three trash bins
Two turtle shoves
And a pink coin in a track tree!

(I’ve also seen “four crawling herbs” proposed as an alternate lyric.)

You're not a Pennsylvanian unless you spent an hour every year in Knoebels anthracite museum as a child.

So I guess this must have been Carl's twisted idea he once had to make a level that was just ENTIRELY one giant anti-soft lock extravaganza.

@WalterW 4 years ago

This troll level is just a compilation of evil anti-softlocks. I love it :)

Carl is such a nice guy. Making fun and entertaining level for all to play. And its christmas themed too!!

Such a gift for all to love.

9:25 flinched like an abused child

The sarcasm at the end of totally almost getting WR, the christmas spirit and christmas vibes, the messed up intros, and the Very Mario Christmas Outro with Santa Mario riding Yoshulph the Green Skinned Dino, whilst a variated Superball Theme was playing, this video was absolutely perfect, what a pleasure to watch.

At least your red hair will match your face after you fall for these trolls!

13:10 pretty ballsy section there, Carl

DGR: Can't see any clue or hint put in bright flashy colors right in front of his face.
Also DGR: Figures out entire premise of level after first troll.
Also DGR: "Big Brain David" as he traps himself INCREDIBLY obviously.
Also DGR: "You guys are underestimating what a heckin gamer santa is." as he has already screwed himself for lack of foresight.

I see Carl hasn't lost his touch, this is literal mental torture in the form of pixels, its like the psychological version of Jackass. GG Dave, love the hair m8, you look like somebody poured a bottle of ketchup over the top of your head.
