I've never prospected for gold, but I'd like to one day. I totally understand why gold fever can be so powerful. Pulling large, pure gold nuggets out of the ground for free is like finding $20 bills laying all around you. The fact that you found about $10K in 2 days is what's so crazy to me.

Hearing him talk about 20k then looking at how long ago the video was (11 months) and seeing he’s now at 85k is always so great 😊

In a world where content creators tend to be click-baity, over-enthusiastic and reckless to score followers... It's refreshing to have someone genuine who truly cares for the environment and is knowledgeable about the history and culture of the places they visit. Love tuning in mate - makes me want to do a trip home and come exploring wit ya :)

29:47 huge chunk of gold missed. Bottom middle left of screen chunk of quartz is covering part if the middle of it.

If you’re watching this, give this young man a subscribe. He’s earned it and is more authentic than the contrived prospectors. He doesn’t buy up land, or hawk a lot of wares. It’s a true adventure to watch. Thanks Rob.

I found you thru Levi, first time viewer. This is why it’s now on my bucket list to fly to the other side of the world and see this breath taking place at least on time in my life. What a incredible find my friend. Looks like I’ve got a bunch of videos to catch up on. Greetings and thank you from a county boy from North Carolina, usa!

Epic adventure 🤩
How amazing that you've discovered a creek, that hasn't been pillaged by Levi. 😄
Congratulations Rob.

As a young child, I found gold in a feeding trough full of mud and water at a craft show. After that, I failed over and over in the wild panning and using a sluice box. Until i took up metal detecting at beaches and parks and found jewelry. The more frequent, interesting but non-valuable finds keep the motivation.

Can’t believe you don’t have 200,000 subs this is by far the best outdoor adventure channel running on YouTube

The gold is all around you - the environment, the nature. That has to be some of the most beautiful video I have seen - what beautiful country. You are blessed on EVERY adventure, EVERY day, no matter the momentary misery.

I'm interested in geology at a basic level but this has me absolutely riveted; more questions than answers. I'm having flashbacks to when I did fossil hunting at gravel spoil mounds.. Edit: You're closer re the discoloured gold -- mind blown! Well done, a great production👏👍
