The Central Tablelands in Brazil... while walking down through vegetation to a waterfall I disturbed many beautiful big dinner plate sized metallic looking completely neon blue butterflies on a tree. The most beautiful butterflies I've ever seen 💙

Butterflies are living gems

I lived in an area a little south of Tucson called three points. And we had an infestation of snout nose butterflies. It was amazing. I had to look them up and find out what they were because we had so many everywhere in the desert. It was an amazing and wonderful experience!
