This exhibition showcases works by Italian and Northern European artists from the 15th and 16th centuries. Specifically, it includes works by Botticelli, who dealt with Christian themes in many of his works from the Middle Ages; portraits by Leonardo da Vinci and others characteristic of the Renaissance; works by Venetian painters depicting Syrian towns; and even a print by the German Renaissance master Dürer depicting a rhinoceros from India.
