We’ve just finished another Toyota LandCruiser Prado 250 Series build, and this one has been set up to do a bit of everything.
From the Vikor Diablo bullbar, Carbon 12,000lb winch, STEDI driving lights and Safari ARMAX snorkel up front, through to the Rhino-Rack platform, 200W solar panel, Starlink Mini setup and camp lighting on the roof, there’s a lot packed into this Prado 250.
But the biggest part of this build is hidden in the rear.
Underneath the RVSS false floor we’ve installed an Accelerate underfloor dual battery system with a 200Ah iTechworld Ultra Slim lithium battery and Projecta IDC50 DC-DC charger. The setup has been designed to keep the rear cargo area practical while still giving the customer plenty of power for touring.
We’ve also fitted our quarter-panel compressor and inverter bracket with an ARB Brushless Twin Compressor and Invicta inverter, plus rear 12V outlets, USB charging, Anderson power output and solar input.
One of the coolest parts of this build is the Projecta Intelli-IQ system, giving the customer control of accessories including the compressor, roof lighting, Starlink and inverter from the system itself, their phone and through Apple CarPlay on the Prado’s factory display.
We finish the build with a GME XRS Connect UHF using our vehicle-specific Prado 250 handpiece mount, UHF body bracket and power pickup for a clean, integrated installation.
If you’re building a Toyota Prado 250 Series for touring, towing, camping or everyday family use, this video gives you a complete look at what’s possible.

I personally wouldn’t touch the floor which would result in reducing the space around the vehicle’s 48V battery, or use up any of the space next to the 48V battery, as it might effect rightly or wrongly a warranty claim.
Good to see someone has figured out that there is space where the 12V starter battery is mounted for the petrol hybrid Land Cruiser (Prado) which are found in the US. I absolutely love the idea of using up that space, and would like to this space configured for other options as well e.g second battery. Excellent idea that you have used up that space for a bulky item, such as a compressor.
