Hey Beauties and Fellow Makeup Lovers! Thank u all so much for joining me for my first declutter series! This is Part 4 of 5 and I hope u enjoy it! I love watching declutter videos myself 🤭

In this video, I go thru my entire collection of Eyeshadow Palettes. From Mainstream, to more affordable, to Indie Brands!! This is my absolute favourite category of makeup.
My goal is to revisit my collection, discover what’s old and make room for all of the new products I picked up at the end of 2025. Because I purchase all of my makeup myself, (with the exception of a few gifts from friends) this won’t be a massive declutter. I usually like what I choose to buy, so if it’s still good, I have hopes to put them in rotation!

I’m also aware that this is way more makeup than anyone needs, but I’m born in the year of the Monkey, so call me Curious!! Or nosy… I love discovering and trying out products so I love that ur following along on my makeup journey!! This past year has been so much fun, and I am grateful to all of u for the support. I had over 700 palettes which I know is ridiculous. I’ve spent the last couple of years going through my collection carefully and decluttering and rehoming palettes. I found some of my most favorite brands and color stories were no longer performing the way they used too. I also found so many palettes I only really like maybe half the colors so I started making custom palettes within the brands. As of last night I now have 221 palettes and to me that is great because it allows me to use all my palettes every year and many I can use twice. I also just like to take out my palettes and look at them and be awed by the colors and textures. I love to swatch them especially if I’m having a bad day because it brings me such joy so in truth I get to now use all my palettes several times a year in a variety of ways. Such joy and pleasure!
I think your thoughtful approach to decluttering is excellent and will serve you well to not regretting your choices.

I watch declutter videos to find what is kept to see if I want to buy them, decluttering my own palettes is like NEVER going to happen! Bwahahaha 😈

New subscriber! I love eyeshadow palettes, especially indie eyeshadow! I appreciate when creators use "older" releases. It reminds us to use and love what we have instead of new, new, new. ❤

For the Huda Beauty Creamy palettes, I love those cream shades as a tacky base. They're not as strong as a glitter glue, so I'd never use them for glitter, but they're really nice as a base for powders to really make them pop! Also, I sometimes like the soft looks I get from cream shadows, so they're kind of double duty for me. I fly through creamy shadows. I use several Colourpop Super Shock shadows up every year using them as bases as well as toppers. It's a staple in my daily routine now.

It ridiculous how many palettes I own. I'd hate to add up the cost of it all. Counting my quads, with larger ones...600+. I have 3 boxes of declurtered palettes. Plus many huge palettes of singles. Too many for 1 person to wear. I have a memory box of older ones that made makeup history or have special meaning to me. I keep mine organized by warm toned, cool, neutral, green, blue, purple, pink, & multi. It makes it easier to find what I want. Sometimes I just enjoy switching all the pretty colors. It brings a smile to my face.

Indie eyeshadows started my love and obsession with eyeshadow! Unearthly, Nomad, BBB, Devinah and Artitude cosmetics, and Adept are my top brands! Love your perspective on your collection. I pass on the palettes I don't enjoy to my fellow makeup friends. But I still have a huge collection for someone who barely has time to put makeup on these days, lol. Oh well, it makes me happy. Swatching my metallics and multichromes makes me so happy!

Also, I have 15 palettes currently, with 3 more on my wishlist to get later this year. I then plan to go on a no buy for palettes so I can focus on using what I have more, and also because I would like to round out the colors in my lip collection because it really is limited to pink, peach, and red currently. Lol.

Hi. I've just found your channel and am so happy I did! I love how thoughtful you are and agree that we could allow each other more grace in life. It felt peaceful to watch this, no drama, which is so refreshing. Really liked seeing the swatches you provided and the excitement you have for the palettes. I'm looking at indie palettes currently to try to decide where to begin purchasing and seeing the swatches really helps. Looking forward to watching more of your content!

I have a couple hundred palettes, collector for sure! I have only used maybe 20 of them, I hate messing them up, lol. I need to start using them!

I like what you explained about critical thinking (the Juvias place commentary). I find that online really erases that from most people, and they jump on a bandwagon because other people have said something that created drama. Makeup is makeup at the end of the day, and if we have an open mind (and stay off the internet) most things will be seen for what they are.. pressed pigments in a pan with packaging. Great collection! 🙂

I know that this video is pretty old.. but as a black woman speaking on the Juvia's Place incident.. Growing up we used that word to describe certain eye shapes that we felt we had that were similar to the Asian community.. I didn't know it was a slur until I was pretty much an adult.. And I haven't used that term since.. I think it was said out of ignorance.. not a way to hurt someone.

but I love collection videos and declutter videos.. && this one was wonderful!😊

Super fun video! I found you because I wanted a Mineralia review and I appreciate your reviews, especially as an older lady 🤣 in Canada. I really lucked out with Mineralia and only had to pay $26 in duties. It's so great to hear you say good things about so many brands. I used to be into indie brands hard but have fallen off - there are so many new-to-me brands I'd love to try!
