Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions is about being trapped and I think that's neat.

So, I expected this to be a video about Metal Gear Acid or something. To instead discover a video extracting this much depth from just VR missions subverted expectations and impressed deeply. Very well done.

VR/Special Missions made me realise that the main game could have really benefited from some of the scenarios/level designs which were included in these levels. Glass panels, lasers, ditches, platforms, sniping challenges, more complexity in the layouts of certain stages.

this game needs remake the most. imagine cosmic hi res lines of code and transparent geometry floating...

7:37 In Metal Gear Ghost of Babel, it is revealed that ghost of babel is a vr mission that the player is playing as Jack, which revealed Raidens name a year before mgs2 came out 😀.

Playing it back twenty-five years ago bring back memories and it pushed my mental capabilities to the max. Metal Gear Solid -VR Missions is a treasure and need to play it. I still got it though.

We need a whole murder mystery metal gear game, heavy rain + metal gear would be a dream game

My mind cannon is that the vr missions are the simulated missions and interpretations of the patriots aj to train the next set of soldiers. The cybernetic ninja could explain how despite being a long and killer, raider knows how to be as aerodynamic and so good at a sword upon getting one in mgs2.
