Lyric fantasy recorded one of the fastest furlong times at ascot ever. She was a freak

You would never get a Jockey interview where they recommended that a horse of the calibre of Marling should have a break . How different they are now with their post race platitudes . .Ironic as her best race in my view was at Goodwood  where she fought like a tiger to beat Selkirk

Marling was a monster over various distances , I do remember doing these two as a seemingly obvious straight F/C , it would’ve paid nearly 4/1 .. nice ! 👌

I’m nearly caught up with my recorded tv racing so I can watch the Arc live on Sunday - just watched ITV’s Ayr gold cup meeting what a corker !
Not so sleepy retiring at 12yo by winning AGAIN 😅.. fav in the Silver cup trotting up for a 6 timer and ffs Karl Burke getting a 1-2-3 in the 25 runner Ayr Gold Cup !  You gotta love horse racing , always something novel , exciting and emotional every time 👏

Francis Norton claiming 3lb

The original Pocket Rocket , Lyric Fantasy , super blitzing 2yo , nothing could live with her over 5f . I don’t remember her doing great things as a 3yo tbh .

I feel sure I must’ve backed Pursuit of love as I can honestly say I’ve never heard of the winner 🤷‍♂️
The trainer was well known as the trainer of crack 2yo Horage , whatever became of him ?
