Getting to a similar point in my garden, always something that can be moved to improve the garden next year.

Garden is looking fantastic mate 😎👌🌴I think the move of the bananas will suit the new area well 👌😎🌴

As the saying goes, sometimes less really is more! I personally think too many plants can look overwhelming & distracting. I totally understand what you’re planning and why. I did something similar a few years ago & I’m much happier with how my garden now looks. I came to the conclusion that some plants needed too much care and attention and then offered very little pleasure during their growing season. Others were simply fighting with each other for space and just looked a mess! I look forward to seeing your changes over the coming years and how everything evolves 😊

Looks good, agree with moving the Musa. I always grow the red bananas from small every year because they do require so much looking after in the winter

The garden looks fantastic Janes.
I’m already planning for next year and will be moving a couple of plants out especially the location of dahlias as they have much bigger than I expected, considering they were grown from a single tuber.

Funny, my Ensete bananas, 2 established, 1 planted this year, are my non negotiables in my garden alongside the tetrapanaxes. They are a massive ball ache to overwinter, but I can't do without them. I have a few in the ground and one in a pot. The one in a pot is big and still looks fantastic.

Another great vid as always..👍

Hi James,
Hope you're well. You have amazing plants 🪴 I want to dig up a Trachycarpus Waggie and move it to another area of my garden. I feel that I've planted it in the wrong place. I planted my x2 Ensete Maurelii in pots this year James because as im getting older i cannot lift them out the ground. So in pots should be easier for me but ill wait and see. Happy gardening 🌴 🍃 🪴 👨‍🌾 💚

Garden is looking amazing. I actually do like your banana clump there, but it is your garden 😂 the isoplexis canariensis are only just starting to size up for me, no flowers yet. Will they need to be bought into greenhouse for the winter? I see they have a H3 hardiness rating.
