Sugar Ray is the G.O.A.T. He can box, he can brawl, he had great hand speed, great footwork, great jab, a great chin, extremely tough, etc. He has victories over all time greats. What more can you ask ? He is simply the best.

Pure athlete , one of the best I ever saw and I've watched boxing since Friday Night Gillette era. Don't let looks fool you especially on the streets

You cant teach coach manage great pure talent , but they can make them better

❤ sugar ray leonard my hero

Growing up, and until today, Sugar Ray Leonard is my 🐐 (yes, beyond Ali) God bless you Sugar Ray 🙏 ❤️ ✝️

Lol His mom quoted Malcom X . . . "Less singin'. More swingin'".
Loved seeing that Cuban TKOd. Grown men fighting Golden Gloves Jr HS kids.
That early '80s welterweight division was loaded with talent like at no other time in my lifetime.
Harry Greb died on an operating table having his retina re-attached.

38:53 I give Ray a lot of credit for admitting he lost the remacth with Hearns. Hearns should have had an official victory on his record for that fight.

Sugar Ray was a fistical genius

Vaya pedazo de video, un poquito de historia uno de los boxeadores más grandes, lastima q no esté en español pero igualmente contento de poder ver ésta maravilla!

Straight up earner. Fought all the best and if he lost there were 0 excuses.
How many weight belts, years, TKO's, KO's . All Time great , you'd have to be a fool to argue that.

As a boxer i prefer my background be non publicized

Sugar looks just like his mother

I honestly thought he should've won the first fight with Duran

The only problem he didnt have good head movements

Let ke make my money and keep my profile low

The greatest welterweight  of all time and he beat Hagler in their fight I had him winning 10 rounds 1 even 1 Hagler if you watch he won but fans were mad that he came back from 3 or 4 years off and I was the only won in our school that beat on sugar Ray to win the whole school teachers took Hagler but I read articles after article and Hagler kept saying I can out box him in every one , and I go he is stupid his ego he going to try to box so he came out right handed and gave away the first 5 rounds round 6 Ray was winning then Hagler hit him with a 3 punch combo did not drop him staggered him but then Ray finished strong so Ray won the early got hurt but finished strong even round then he kept stealing rounds and the one round Hagler won was close other then that it Ray should have won a unanimous decision.

Aren't Ray and his ex-wife Juanita actually related (i.e cousins)? She looks exactly like a young version of his mother.

I love Leonard as a fighter, but I think it's hilarious that he and his first wife tried to defraud the welfare system by saying she didn't know where the father of her child was then he puts a picture of her on his foot gear! 😂😂
