There are free ways to do the same. To make my game I used 1 free prompt per day of Manus AI agent who do the testing of the game before release the code, 5 prompt per day of Gemini pro, 1 prompt per day of Genspark AI agent and unlimited prompt of Kimi K2. For the sounds and music, Suno AI and pixabay.

From my experience, those reasoning models can adjust output a few times and then they start fixing 1 thing while breaking 2 things. When you point that out, they keep apologising and still not fixing what they broke. It continues until it become unmanageable 😕

Ive built a cocktail bartending card game over 2 months full of authentic recipies and bartending history/history of alcohol. Used exactly same tools, windsurf, flow, suno, 11 labs, luma. Next I want to make a Theme Hospital inspired one! ❤

Fascinating. I used Claude Code to write a test framework for a really old command-line tool (catdoc), and then to modernize its old "autotools" build system. It got both working far faster than I would have assembled them. But I had to step in to stop Claude Code from making some bone-headed design decisions, like writing a new "test-feature-X" script that's 80% identical to the existing "run-tests" script it just wrote, or writing "TESTS=$(wildcard *.doc) $(wildcard *.ppt) $(wildcard *.xls)" instead of simply "TESTS=*.doc *.ppt *.xls". And despite its confidence it doesn't fully grasp the nuances of autoconf files or autotool's own test framework. And when I challenge its actions it always says "You're absolutely right, I should do that" instead of actually evaluating whether my criticism is justified.

It's a huge help but it's imperfect. Was $17.21 in API credits worth 12 hours of coding assistance? Definitely for me. All the AI tools will be better in two months, which is insane.
