That's one thing about WCW - they weren't afraid to hold their PPVs in crazy locations.

WCW really had sum great PPV. Road Wild, WW, Fall Brawl, & Halloween Havoc. Those were the days

FUN FACT: This is Harlem Heat's favorite tag team match.

The two greatest tag teams in WCW history, a matchup so good that WWE included it on its "Allied Powers: Best tag teams" dvd set over 15 years ago. 😀👍🏻

Back in the regular house show days I saw Harlem Heat beat the Steiners to win their titles. This was in Cincinnati. Next day the Steiners won them back up the road in Dayton.
Good times with no social media spoiling things.

Ah yes, the PPV show that had no gate sales because everyone got in for free, and all because Eric loved motorcycles.

I remember the WCW Saturday Night live pre-show for this event. No one had considered how hot the ring canvas was after sitting in direct sunlight for hours. In the first match, one guy takes a normal bump and reacts to the unexpectedly hot mat, then no one else takes a normal flat back bump for the next two hours

This match hits different now after watching Booker T's bio.

The Sturgis WCW shows always looked so chaotic and fucked. hahaha BKFC is at Sturgis this weekend, and all I can think of is Rick Steiner in a shoot interview complaining about the exhaust fumes and various drug smoke clouds hahahaha... I can't imagine doing any sort of Pro Wrestling in that enviroment, let alone bare knuckle boxing. Sturgis festival is a wild place.
