Don't procrastinate is a top tip imo, I've got ADHD and this was my biggest obstacle. Took me a good ~2 weeks over Christmas to make a start on the van once I'd bought it, felt like I'd bitten off more than I could chew. It wasn't until I'd ordered my furniture that I got a proper kick up the arse and made some real progress. My top tip would be to buy some knee pads, my knees are destroyed after a month of being knelt down in the back. Luckily, now i can kick back in my van, soak in what I've achieved and let them recover 😂

Is it a weird thing to say that I loved the carpeting stage. 😂 Especially carpeting the ply panels.

Great video. Watching your videos has made me want to change my semi-fixed bed to a u-shaped lay out. I've got a 2007 LWB Renault Trafic.

Insulating and carpeting a small van is really tough. Not only the small space but also the smaller surfaces. Took me three days and lots of back pain haha. But it's nice when it's done! Good tips you got out here for sure!

Good advice, your van is fantastic, i tend to over think everything to the extent i don't get on with it as need to do even more research....

Great tips! Over 3 months later I'm still at the treating rust and painting stage 😩 Can't wait to get to the sound deadening/insulation stage!! 😄

Its the electrics thats getting me haha so many options deffo going powerstation for this van but just what wires/fuses etc are needed for what

Hi mate when it comes to parking on a very noisy busy street how does the soundproofing hold up? Can you hear much when your in the van ? Could you sleep in that situation

Hello mate, watched your full conversion and it looks great I just have a quick few questions for you! How much of the dodo Thermo insulation did you use for the van? And are you still liking your aferiy power bank, does it run everything in the van no issues? and how long Do you normally get out of it with the fridge running etc? Cheers

Hi. Can I ask ..... what did you do with the original interior lights. I know you kept the ones at the back, but what about those in the middle. Did you just hide them under your roof panels? Did you take them out and sela the wires? What did you do?
