Honda VFR800Fi from 2001. The 5th gen. This is a pure old school sports tourer bike. It has a V4 800cc engine with 110hp that really sings when you push it. This particular bike has linked brakes and offers great comfortable seat. Have to admit that it really offers a very nice ride. It really goes when you want it to. It offers more than enough power for most riders, it is fully faired and with sufficient windscreen (aftermarket Givi). The aftermarket exhaust sounds great (LeoVince). Watch the video for more. I was afraid to go back to VFR after the ZZR1400, but don't regret the choice of 5th gen. I realized for me was not about the high speed anymore, but high revs. Man, how i love this bike

I have the 5th generation vfr800, but it's not set up for touring, but rather for performance.
Full Delkevic exhaust, passenger seat cowling, dark short wind screen.
It was extremely well taken care of by the previous owner, it has 14,000 miles on it with all the maintenance done.
It's very quick and very fast and stupidly gorgeous.
My 21 year old son who is tall enough to solidly plant both his feet on the ground loves it more than his CBR 600, so I'm stuck riding his bike more than mine.

Thank you very much for this ride vid. I'm weighing the pros and cons of a '02 and a '99 VFR. Your experienced rider comments were very helpful. I rode a Connie1000 sport-tourer for 14 years previous to the VStrom 650XA (same engine as your SV, but different tuning) I ride now since '17; but I've never had a bike that is more in the sport end of things like the VFR will be. I feel it will be the perfect all-rounder to compliment my other all-rounder.🤙 And it was great to see a bit of Slovenia as well!

I've 2 90s classic there Rolls-Royce of motorbikes. Cam gears so comfortable to ride not like the bikes of today

A practical and honest review. I rarely watch an entire video but I enjoyed this one. Bought one of these today (2001). At 5'7" and 29" inseam, it's a bit high for me and yes, it does weigh a bit when walking it... but it's a lot of bike for the money and you're getting an old, but well made Honda. Thanks for the great review!

I also ride this VFR.
The motorcycle was sold until 1998 ~ 2002 at Japan.
The RC 46, named RC 49, VFR 800 P, is an excellent motorcycle that had been manufactured for the Japan police until 2008.
However, my VFR has been retrofitted with a muffler, air cleaner and computer slower than the Japan Police Motorcycle.People looking for fast motorcycles were paying high prices and opting for reimported motorcycles.
All manufacturers had slow horsepower modifications.But now, due to a complaint from a foreign manufacturer, the law has been revised, the horsepower regulation has been lifted, and you can buy a motorcycle with the same horsepower as the one sold overseas.I want to ride your VFR that looks fast.
