This is amazing. Mashallah.  Sounds really close to shadow integration.  For years I've suffered from flashbacks of the past but this reallly seems like a much better solution.  Y'all teach them therapists to step up their game!

MashaAllah the way Shahrez speaks is genuinely powerful. He actually understands human psychology and spirituality in a deeply thoughtful way. The clarity, composure and conviction he speaks with makes these conversations incredibly impactful. May Allah continue to increase him in knowledge, wisdom and barakah. Ameen.

I think this podcast does a really good job explaining how childhood experiences and emotional wounds shape adult behavior. A lot of people genuinely carry shame, fear, anxiety, emotional suppression, or unhealthy attachment patterns, and giving language to that can help people become more self-aware and compassionate toward themselves and others.

Where I think it starts to sway away is when healing becomes too self-centered instead of God-centered. Sometimes modern healing culture can make people orbit their wounds forever, constantly analyzing triggers and emotions without moving toward discipline, worship, responsibility, and purification of the soul.

Islam acknowledges pain deeply, but the goal is not to build an identity around being wounded. The goal is to grow beyond it through closeness to Allah, sabr, tawakkul, character, service, and striving against the nafs. The prophetic model feels more complete because it balances emotional intelligence with accountability, mercy with strength, and healing with purpose.

Knowledge, wisdom, discipline, strength, and courage, all in one video. Mashallah Shahrez 🤍

Great podcast.

❤ thank you and thank to algorithm

W collab 💯

MashaAllah very instructive and goosebumps at certain moments. I used to do Louise Hay’s meditations, where you hug your inner child and tell them you love them. But in today’s meditation, we dressed up as Wonder Woman, played together, danced, and jumped. It was really nice 😊
Gazak Allah kher Shahrez for the inspiration and excellent ideas, and Milad for inviting him to speak on this topic.

This is my first time watching Milad. Why's your instagram acc restricted to users below 25?
