Nothing is more fascinating to me than the development process of OoT. Originally, it was supposed to be a remake of Zelda 2, then it turned into a weird hub world with Ganon's tower being the center, and then it became OoT. But what else are we missing? There's clearly a pivoting point for all these changes, but clearly there were A LOT of them. I played the dumped cart version on my twitch channel and just that alone was ...incredibly different. Link's Mocap animations alone floored me at how different they were. The Lost Woods were so big and open, that they were confusing and not in a good way. Kakiriko was huge, too, but it was more like the Zelda 2 style of town.

Majora's Mask takes place in Canada because the beach at night has loons screaming in the background 😩

I remember seeing a unicorn statue in the prototype of link to the past, which means that the idea of a unicorn fountain was an earlier idea, same with the deku tree

Been playing OOT since it came out when I was a kid and some of these were new to me. Great work

good to see you haven't abandoned this channel for the pokemon one

God, I remember reading the Zelda mangas in middle school. That volvagia scene fucked me up lol. Good read tho

Great work eisenberger!

Mm kinda solves oot song of storms paradox since link learns the song from the one brother in incana canyon, so he winds up back in hyrule so in every timeline the windmill guy could still learn the song without time shenanigans

Hey Eisenberg! Would it be possible to make a playlist for this for binge watching <3 Love everythng you have done on both this and ur original channel

As for the Sky Temple I remember rumors back in the day where you could do various tasks like riding up using the Gossip Stones or other dumb things where you could fly up and once you get high enough you'll teleport to the Sky Temple. I also have a working theory that the fallen timeline solves the song of storms paradox.

Nice Video.

as a kid when i played it i didnt understand the meaning or weight of some dialogue along with the quests that i did, then i played it again when i was in middle school cuz of nostalga and wanted to 100% it and it felt like punch to the face like too me Ocarina of Time is a hella good game but Majora's Mask is like the best of the best and will be stay there i still pray nintendo make something similar to it in the future.

My head canon is that the Song of Storms actually stems from Termina. We learned it there and brought the knowledge of it back to Hyrule, us teaching the windmill man it. I think what he meant was Majoras Mask link was the 1st one to teach him, maybe? Still fun to think about.

Babe wake up or would the ‘what year is it’ mean be more appropriate… either way this will make a fine addition to my collection xD

26:53 is it just me or did they also use this same sound in wind waker for the shining light that takes you underwater to enter hyrule castle?

9:20 i thought the voices were trapped gorons saying help me

To think that this iceberg will get a sequel either this or next year already lol hopefully we get to see more additions than changes to how OoT plays

Female narrator's voice is so nice to listen to

35:21 wonder if the visual console version contains them!

What is the song that starts at 9:36?
