You’re spot on removing the bearing seals.  One thing I would have done differently..  I would have hand packed the spindles and bearings while I had it apart.

Owner doesn't deserve such a nice mower.
Many would, respect and  appreciate to have such a nice mower.

I swapped out my stock tires exactly as you did and it completely transformed my Husqvarna. I live on on 11 acres on the side of a mtn in WNC and I don't get stuck anymore! Three years later, it's time for new tires (same as before) and I wanted to give you a shout out for the solid advice.

Dude said the Hell with over spray..

When you change the tires to taller ones, the cutting height measurements for which it was originally designed will change.

Thank u so much. I had just bought the same zero turn & u r so right about the drive tires on it. All i do is dig holes with them. Just ordered to ones u recommended. U r one smart , hard working guy. Wish u the best

I recently put ATV tires on my IKON 52.  I love them. They don't tear up grass as much as I thought they would. I found that a spinning turf tire does more damage than a gripping ATV tire.
I like the zip tie solution on the safety switch.

Great job showing and telling, keep up the good work fixing them lawnmowers . Now you can cut that grass, have a good one see ya next time see ya bye.

Great video. I wish you’d done a before and after shot. Excellent job at restoring this mower

You also gain ground speed with the higher tires. I bought a RZ5426 brand new years ago. I put I think 20” tires on within the first week. Still mow with that mower. It’s been an incredible reliable mower and simple and cheap to change spindles and belts etc. Great video..thanks

Genius!! Loved the idea of removing the seal on the bearings of the spindles

just came for the tires 😢

Finally, someone else that knows about Ospho.

It's good to see that you used black zip ties on that switch. They are UV protected. Where we work we use metal detectable zip ties, and we use them for hanging plastic for power washing, so we do cut them on an angle to push through the plastic, but we cut the ends off after we use them on the plastic so that when someone is power washing, they don't get hurt.

Great vid. I give you a 👍 just for the music

Can you link to the size tires you purchased?

Gorilla glue works perfectly on a seat coming apart like that.. I know I used it as an experiment … $5 works absolutely

Can you put a link to the new tires?

I have this same mower. Thanks for the ideas.

Great video. Mine (z254f) isn't in bad condition like this but I do want new tires. I added a suspension seat mount and ended up totally disabling the seat safety by removing a jumper from it.
