I still remember the card show across the street from my great grandma's. We were visiting so I walked across the street and bought a Frank Thomas Leaf RC card for $20. Funny thing is it was worth like $40 at the time and is probably worth $20 now, considering inflation not a good deal, but the memory was worth keeping that card forever.

I was surprised to learn that the 1990 Frank Thomas o pee chee's value wasn't in the hundreds

Hey man I love your videos, keep em comin!  I love how you show the number of bids for each card.  Any chance you can start showing/telling us the number of bidders for the card?  I think that would be a cool addition to the fine work that you do.

going up pennies!

And this is why I kept Telling them Yeah Throw All of them Away... while I keep them 😂😅😂😅

Aside from a few of Jeter's rookie cards, I would pass up on the rest, in a dollar bin, at a flea market.   Heck, If I own the rest of the 48 cards, I would be glad to trade all for a pre-chewed Big Mac.

As an outsider to this current market, but aware of the PSA and grading situation as it currently stands (I collect non-sports cards, but collected this era of cards as a kid), aren't these prices just a function of the exorbitant cost of grading these days? hardly any of these are non PSA 10/BGS 9.5 and are probably only pricy because of the rarity of higher grades? I mean, all these Jeter rookies ungraded are essentially a few bucks still, right? The only reason these are expensive "now" is because of the grades and the fact that no one can grade new cards at PSA and BGS?

i prefer when you do ungraded also

Well other cards do sell not only Jordan basketball cards

People paying  5 grand for a Barry Bonds card,  a guy who put a black mark on baseball,  it boggles my mind.  If I' m  paying
5 grand on a card,  it's going to be Mickey Mantle or Willie Mays.

With today’s cost of grading you didn’t sell those cards, you gave them away.

Great video sir. I just have to point out that right now most of these cards by the time we were to get these cards graded they would cost us money 🤦🏽‍♂️ Gotta love the hobby!

barely any are profitable if grading now..most would lose big money actually..90s cards arent going up

Did the price really explode??? Or is this click bait??

Oh wow, if my handful out of thousands of junk wax cards that are worth more than a dollar happen to get graded a 10 I can lose $50 selling them for much less than the $79 grading cost

Telling people the PSA 10 price doesn’t help anyone actually looking to sell 😂

lol 90s baseball cards lol , ya they are red hot , red hot in my fire pit because I burned all of mine because they are worthless junk
