I recently found a Bernina 1100D in the thrash. I grapped it out of the rain, bought a used pedal and now I have a lovely overlocker for almost free. I took it to the repair shop, and the keeper checked it over. He was amazed by my find. I have wanted an overlocker for a long time, bit doesn’t sew enough for justifying the cost. Lucky me😊

This video was invaluable. Stupidly, I thought the thread it came pre-threaded with would last longer, but it ran out so I had to rethread No4 from scratch!!! I would NOT have been able to do it without this video. The instruction booklet is rather hopeless for this; I find the illustrations more confusing than helpful.

Unfortunately it’s now stopped overlocking, however. Presumably as I now need to rethread 3, 2 and 1! All caused by my own stupidity.

😮Hi why my needle  keeps on breaking

I just bought a brother m343d serger.  It worked fine at first but now it just cuts the fabric without stitching. I rethreaded multiple steps following the exact steps and it still doesn't sew.

Hi - my Elna792D overlocker is not happy at the minute. I love her and she is a workhorse that very rarely has an issue. The upper looper keeps on unthreading-I think its not chaining and getting knotted then snaps so it looks like its unthreaded. It literally sews 1cm then that happens. I’ve put new needles in and rethreaded. Any advice please? Thank you
