Baxter always seemed like the writer's punching bag. No other villain suffered so much. I hope he returns back into a human one day.

Back when Baxter changed to the fly the status quo was already known to me. That's why I was puzzled that they didn't change him back to human by the end of the episode. With every appearing of Baxter I wished for him to be changed back to human. Unfortunately that wasn't meant to be.

Hes one of the few villains I actually feel sorry for.

Thank you for bringing up a fact barely anyone registers…the Turtles also helped turn Baxter to crime by leaving him for the police despite not really doing anything illegal (he didn’t know who Shredder was, he just thought he finally had a buyer) yet they left him tied up and stole his things. Poor Baxter probably thought was better off with Shredder since he knew about the Turtles too until he realized too little too late what fate had in store for him.

36 years later, I’m hopeful that he can become human again.

This was always my favorite version of Baxter because of his tragic story, and he's the only relatable villain i remember from the cartoon. Most of the villains were evil because they could, but Baxter wanted to be an honest man and was stepped on again and again. And what it made worse is that the Turtles, the heroes of the show, played a major role in his downfall by stealing his stuff and probably being the reason he was sent into asylum.
Back then while watching "Revenge of the Fly" i really hoped that the Turtles at least let him use the muta-zoo ray gun to turn him back into human. It's just a thought from my younger self, but maybe it could've helped him to stabilize his mind again and redeem himself, because it was Baxter's only wish.

I'm pretty sure the real reason nobody wanted the mousers is because they didn't want to get sued for destroying people's walls.

Baxter kidnapping Vernon twice is so darn funny. I wish they had made it a running gag. Like every episode Baxter was in at some point, he kidnaps Vernon for absolutely no reason.
Shredder: we have to get the technodrome back to earth!
Baxter: shredder I have successfully abducted Vernon from channel 6!
Shredder: ... what?! That dosent... No one even told you to do that!!!

I never knew that the original plan for Baxter was to turn him into a "Doc Brown" type of ally!  As much as I love the "tragic mutant fly Baxter", I can't help but want a peek into an alternate universe with "absent-minded but well meaning scientist ally Baxter"!  Would have been cool to see him and Donatello interact!  Thanks for the information!

I used to love TMNT when I was a kid. We didn't have cable growing up, but me and my brother kicked in the cable box at the end of our driveway one really morning and connected our and our neighbors cable for a few days, and I recorded as many TMNT episodes that I could.

I watched that VHS tape for years afterwards.

In short, Baxter was punished for being a nerd, because that's how we can summarize it.
80s were quite crazy back then, and its media couldn't decide it nerds should be punished for existing, ore given justice for the bullying they suffered.

Yeah I always wanted to see Baxter get vengeance.

His toy was awesome

I wish that he would've become human again and joined the Turtles later on.

15:25 obviously Z managed to send signals that periodically let Stockman out, in hopes that he will somehow manage to revive Z

Inspired by Doc Brown, friend of Marty McFLY?! Coincidence?

White Baxter was modeled after Doc Brown?  Didn't know that.

I always thought Baxter being disintegrated was too extreme.

2:09 “Well, to put it in a single word…. GET OUTTA HEAH!!!!”

Interestingly, this version of Baxter Stockman was the only one I knew about the most when I was growing up as a kid while watching this show

Baxter was a boss in both "TMNT 4: Turtles in Time" for Super Nintendo and "TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist" for Sega Genesis.  Strangely, he was in human form in the Genesis game.  Then again, that game also uses Tatsu from the live action movies as a boss...
