The World Cup has finally begun!

I posted about this on X as well, but luckily, I was able to arrange my work schedule to make a whirlwind trip to watch a match live.

While traveling, I spoke with a man who had attended every World Cup since around 1996, and he warned me, "Once you experience a match live, you'll get hooked, and a trip abroad every four years will become a regular thing!"

I thought, "I can't possibly travel abroad that often, haha," but after actually watching the Japan vs. Netherlands match live, I understood what he meant.

I can see why that unique World Cup atmosphere is so addictive.
