It's beyond victimhood, pure abuse of the South African asylum regime by economic migrants and those with other criminal intentions. Seeking asylum is not just about applying for a document- one seek asylum, present his or her situation on why he/she cannot remain in their country of origin because of reasons that qualifies one to be considered as an.asylum seeker. Based on the South African refugee law, Home Affairs needs to determine whether one qualifies/meets the criteria for being granted refugee status. It's a shame that SA is being taken to task for not granting asylum...why not call out the Presidents/Prime.Ministers of these countries whose people are running away from claiming that they cannot be protected. There are people in SA with genuine asylum claims and needs to be heared.  Regrettably corruption in SA  with specific reference to Home Affairs, we have thousands.of ineligible people who paid their way to having those asylum papers. It was evident with those.who returned to Ghana, Nigeria...etc few months ago that many came as visitors and suddenly...apply for asylum to legalize their stay in SA..really????Ooooh by the way  our Government still want to be praised to be " having the most progressive Constitution " while compromising a lot. Dont condone violence against anyone  for whatever reason  but our Gov🤔🤔🤔🤔

1. Why do you think it is that no local/international state/independent media house has reported on this alleged big news of an EFF MP getting arrested?
