I have this exact same model. Edit no it's a 860 not 870. that died on the 7th of January but it's a 2019 build date. I think I'll be sending it to you. Disk was listed as "surprise removal" in event viewer.

mine ssd 860 evo 500gb died after hibernate and wake up, detected in bios but can't boot, use sata to usb3, it takes long to detected but no initialized, cannot format, initialize, etc..only normal information show, SMART wont work btw,

For anyone who wonders what chip is that. İts a stef4spur e fuse chip. It burns itself to save your data. Now its your time to replaced this 1 dollar chip with the new one. My ssd is 970 evo plus 1tb m2 but the code and the everything is same with the chip on the video. So if it happens to you (I hope not) you will know that its a stef4s chip and you can buy it for a dollar and save your all data.

10 pin fuse? Hardly. Been doing electronics for longer than you have been alive, from reactor controls to in the ear hearing aid, never heard of a 10 pin flat pack fuse. More likely its a mosfet.

5:09 I think its not a fuse that is a power mosfet

Throw   it  in   bin    make  a  backup   first
