Huge thanks to the LTTP and ALBW Archipelago teams who make randomizers like this possisble!

Archipelago is a randomizer platform that many randomizer fan projects are hosted on. This includes a bunch of different games, not just Zelda. Go check them out at https://archipelago.gg

ALBW is a part of the Beta releases, only found on the discord.

In my experience, if your Randomizer is going well at the beginning, the seed is still heating up the coals. You're about to get roasted.

Heh, way back when I was younger for a while when I would get a piece of heart in Zelda for a long time I'd say "Piece o' Heart? Pizza Heart" to no one in particular unless my brother happened to be watching me. I don't think I've ever heard anyone else call them Pizza Heart until now. Subscribing a few minutes into this based on this alone.

if you like Zelda randomizers, you will like Metroid, huge overlap in gameplay between the two. There's a reason the first ever multi-game randomizer was A Link to the Past/Super metroid

For those interested in a "true combo" experience, there is SMZ3 which due to a quirk of how they each were programmed, was able to put both link to the past and super metroid on the same rom. So they play like a single game with certain "useless rooms" getting recoded to be portals between the games.

The creator is currently working on adding metroid1 & zelda1 (by porting them both to snes himself)

Really enjoy the rando tips on screen. Thanks for providing them, it's a level of care thats duly appreciated by those not familiar with the intricacies of these games!

Uncle dad... I have a word for that, as someone who was adopted by my uncle. Duncle.

This was surprising, but not unexpected - Link Between Worlds is basically an alternate version of Link to the Past. :)

this is actually one of the coolest zelda challenges ive ever seen. ive also never heard of your channel before but this video is great and i hope to see more like it in the future! the idea with 10 zelda games at once sounds daunting and hilarious

11:25 Glad I wasn't the only one hearing 'Pizza Heart'. I had that same thought myself.

28:12 normally you can't push blocks as bunny, but the pit fall breaks the game a bit and tricks the game into thinking you're human. that's why it's called superbunny cave.

1:21:30 I don't think I've ever noticed that bombable wall before. I learned something new after all these years

Palworld randomized with Banjo Tooie. A pal sphere (on first crafting of a single one) could be a world specific jiggy for Tooie, meanwhile a jiggy in Tooie may end up being a crucial blueprint for a higher grade pal sphere. A research point into the crossbow may be a unlock for Grunty Industries.

9:08  Hell Yeah Kingdom Hearts

19:00 I've played through ALBW at least half a dozen times (probably more but I've lost count) since it came out, and until I saw this video, I legitimately did not know you could stun the Moldorm with the hammer.

Personally I always use the cape when fighting Blind and Mothula. I love not having a hitbox when fighting them lmao

as someone who can just do dark rooms in lttp without the lamp as long as i have the sword and can do a glitch called fake flippers, i'd have just went far out of logic in lttp.
but yeah lttp will be waiting on stuff for a long time if you don't know how to do some glitches or tricks

also the reason blind is so easy with the cane of byrna is that the actual damage you do doesn't matter for them, the number of hits is what matters

Archipelago is so cool, but I kinda miss how Z1/Metroid 1 and ALttP/Super Metroid, and OoT/MM did it, with an actual door between the two games.

It'd be so cool to have all of the ALttP games in one rando, travelling between the three Hyrules (ALttP, ALBW, EoW), Labrynna, Holodrum, Koholint Island, the Dark World, and Lorule.

I originally didn't like ALBW because it was sandwiched between all the other needless Nintendo sequels that didn't understand what they were continuing off of (main Yoshi's New Island and Paper Mario Sticker Star).

As a result of this opinion I had locked in before playing, I saw all of the references as lazy cash grabs.

It wasn't til after the Switch saved Nintendo that I went back to it and saw how well they understood ALTTP when making ALBW. It really does feel like a love letter now that does its own thing to stand its own ground.

That start was nuts
