I took a walk through the Motomachi area of Hakodate, which retains a strong sense of the Meiji and Taisho eras.
From the scenic Hachiman-zaka slope, to the historic building and terrace views of the Old Hakodate Public Hall (where even the Emperor once stayed), and the beautiful churches with their Western flair, I explored these sights.
The nighttime illumination of the Motomachi area is particularly breathtaking!
It's a truly captivating spot, especially for those over 50, offering a sophisticated and scenic atmosphere.
Furthermore, in the second half, I experienced a ride on a historically significant manual elevator!
Please enjoy until the very end.
