My guy and I have stayed at a lot of RIU's, including the one in Nassau. Yes, the Atlantis is nicer but you pay through the nose for EVERYTHING. Cheaper to stay at the RIU next door and bop over to Atlantis to enjoy all it has to offer. Also, we have stayed at the RIU Negril and it was fabulous! The beach of Bloody Bay where it is rivals Playacar with the added bonus of critters to see in the water.
“….terrible food quality, even for RIU standards.” LMAO!!! Thanks for the review Vanessa. I’ve heard a lot of good and bad about RIU resorts. This video helps me to narrow down the list.
Hii Vanessa!! I agree with a couple other people in the comment section that the Riu Baja California should make your list. Their food is definitely above average and the rooms and suites are really nice. That being said, I just came back from the Riu Santa Fe in Cabo and they had definitely upgraded their food. The Italian restaurant was really good and the buffet was much better than it has been in the past. The beds are always hard at Rio hotels.. All in all, we had a great time and will continue to go there because it is the least expensive of the Cabo Riu’s. As always, thanks for another great video!❤️✈️🚢
You got me into All-Inclusive vacationing, and I had just booked two RIU's back to back for Summer '27 when this came out. Made me laugh! I thought I'd be jumping around a lot more, but Had a good experience at a RIU, then a bad experience at Ocean Coral and Turquesa and decided to go back to "safe" for our adventures next summer. Thanks for all your work on these. They really did make a huge impact on how I'm going to try and live my life, or at least the leisure part of my life.
We had a great time at Riu Palace Baja California. Adults only, relatively new, great pools with fantastic views of the arch, good food for Riu, + fast and easy access to the rest of the complex. It's also close to town if you want to head out for something.
Hi Vanessa, as always your "voice" is the factor for me loving your videos, 😃!! But yes, I agree with #1 for sure, but I also wish Riu Palace Baja California was also on the list. The food was above "Riu" standards for a change. The last time I was there, albeit 17 months ago, my friend and I enjoyed that Riu to the fullest and we'll be returning there early next year.
Our family went to RIU palace Aquarelle this summer and I think you’re spot on. We had no complaints. It was very relaxing for a family vacation, a very pretty property, and great service.
Hi Vanessa I love Riu resorts tbe only complaint I have about Riu resorts their rectangle pool are to small in certain time of tbe year when it’s hot and humid it feel like you are in your bath tub not refreshing at alll. In your list you forgot the brand new gorgeos remodeled Riu Palace Peninsula stunning. Good job as always
