The fact that Nathan was one space away from retirement when he got to go bowling duel again is just the best. Like, Nathan's character in that game was a guy who started out life doing nothing but getting in debt due to bowling duels and then did nothing but reject any form of life-improvement up until he got financial counseling with his dog, and then, at like 60 years old, right before he retires from the bowling game for good, he challenges the person who he kept losing to all those years ago. Literally so much can be read into that from a character study perspective, this truly is the best game ever.

It sure sucks when you lose all your money because of your bowling gambling addiction and can't go to college and have to take out loans to survive.

Those of us who were born poor must've just lost too many bowling competitions in the spirit world

Jacobs ordinary existence as a Millionaire lesbian brain surgeon with a kid and a hummer snowmobile lol sounds pretty normal

i wish the drawfee crew did this more often, playing multiplayer games together 😔

I cant believe it, they're cyber bowlying nathan.

I remember typing the "why not click the player 2 part" on stream and Jacob responding "I'm going to murder you." I was both smiling and scared at the same time

If anyone’s curious, apparently the original hot chip & lie meme is “any female born after 1993 can’t cook… all they know is mcdonald’s , charge they phone, twerk, be bisexual , eat hot chip & lie”

Pro bowler Nathan, one week from retirement, staring down old retired Julia: and so it ends as it began

nathan's bowling saga is both beautiful and tragic

"You either die a Jacob, or you live long enough to see yourself become the Gonzo."

Man I really didn't think the writers were going to end the series with Nathan losing but I guess they were trying to teach us to not judge ourselves purely on our wins and losses

The final bowling showdown between surfer-bowler Nathan and retired old Julia is one of my favourite anime moments.

They may have died with more money but Nathan LIVED

My takeaway from this:
Jacob is millionare chef gone brain surgeon
Julia is a room full of vampires
Karina is forever young
Nathan is living the dream and has a financial support dog

If you didn't order takeout, buy a gigantic tv, and upgrade your computer you could've had a mansion by now.

51:55 Okay, but a beach would be probably the worst possible place for a vampire.  There’s lots of sunlight, you’re super close to running water, and you’d be entirely trapped there because you’d be compelled to count the grains of sand on the beach.  Like, I don’t think there’s a way to make that situation worse!

Julia took real guns to a lazer tag fight, that's how she won.
