I have the Strata Prime and it's an amazing kit for the price tag but my gosh the module can be a nightmare sometimes... I'm glad you brought that up. Nice video!

Justin, you are CRUSHING IT with these videos. Truly a great service to ANYONE looking to buy. Bravo!!

Thanks for your hardwork doing these series Justin.

I owned an Alesis DM10 in the 2010s. Snare, two rack toms, two floor toms, a kick drum and 4 cymbals. Served me well for many years. My biggest complaint is I hated recording on it. I would probably hate recording from any electronic kit because of how inflexible the recording set up is compared to an acoustic kit. Rather than separate mics, I just had XLR cables running from the module itself. I recorded two drum tracks for instrumentals I was making in college and it was a miserable time. One screw up, if my stick hit the rim of the snare rather than the head itself, reset the recording and do it all again...

I can't play drums anymore due to onsetting arthritis but like I say, it served me well for many years...

Already having a Yamaha DTX10 K-X and loving it, I still enjoy watching those kind of summaries for other manufacturers. These videos are just so well done.

Thank you for making this video. Great information!! A nice breakdown of each kit! 🥁🥁🎶🎶

I dont even have an alesis kit but this deserves a hype

Thank you for making these type of videos, definitely helps people with decisions!

Great! Thanks!

Love my Core kit, and luckily, no cross talk out of the box.

YES, thank you!

Great video man!

4:11 if you’re only going to play rhythm games this is honestly the kit you should get. At the maximum get a nitro ultimate.

Nice😍

i got a alesis strada club and got prime expansion kit, moved some parts around. so made 14 hithat, ( some srews and part swap), used newer expansion kit snare for the. main snare and used the club snare for floor tom, best of both worlds,

I got the Alesis strata core after having the nitro max for a year, and holy crap the sound quality difference was absolutely crazy. It really shows how much Alesis has to step up their sounds with the cheaper kits.

Today I was looking in depth the nitro pro XL as my first set and what I found online is the same as you are saying the build quality is much better for the rack than the nitro max, so I think I’ll get the pro XL, thanks for the review it was concise but in depth at the same time :)

Looking forward to what Alesis has up their sleeve for their next gen e-kits. I think the Strata modules are the best sounding modules on the market.

Great video! I do have to say your opinion on the Alesis strata line is a bit outdated. Yes at launch it had its issues withvtriggering. Ive had it for a good year, it works perfect, no trigger issues, the module is great and the sounds are amazing! I would 10/10 recommend.

I went with the Alesis strata club + expansion pack and added a Drum-tec snare and 2 lemon cymbals. I also use my 14 inch crash as a hihat and use the 12 inch previous hihat as crash :)

I have the alesis nitro mesh and I’ve the snare problem but I bought a nitro max snare and put it on a stand and I love it.
