The intro of this vid is a little weird, it was the tail end of a mini-travel series I was doing and ended up at home at the end, and this was just meant to be more of a filler episode.  This is the first half of my journey, the second half starts when the videos pick up at the beginning of my channel.  Maybe I'll make an in-depth Part 2 about the struggles of a budding mural artist trying to make it in LA.  Thanks for watching :)

being an artist is not a decision, it is more like a problem that you have to make the best out of it. that moment you said "i need a wall, because i HAVE TO PAINT" feels so familiar to me. really cool story until now. and your first mural was genius - wow, what happened before the first mural?

Love your attitude towards art! Doing illegal murals out of your own pocket is true dedication.

The cone lanterns is a great idea! :D

Damn Kiptoe, you the man...

I think kiptoe is really underrated... i mean his art skills and imagination are just amazing to see and i think more people should see his videos to support him and get inspired

Your work is absolutely amazing, stunning. Thanks for posting this. As a fellow illustrator, this is both informational and inspirational.

thank you for posting this video. it was very inspirational

beautiful story man. me and my guy just went around town asking people if they want a free mural. worked. its interesting to see how artist grinded it out and got started

"80° in december"

Yep thats AZ for you we live in a freakin oven

Some people called vandalism but I called ART! REAL ART

mad respect bro... i always wondered who painted that mural in providence of super boy grew up over there n its nice to know the history behinde that peice providence has such a unique style  where everything is so diffrent that it fits together perfect if that makes any sense lol.. n your style definitely compliments it.. thanks for yhe quick history lessons

Why is street art like this illegal it is so much more creative and beautiful than just gray boring walls

I clicked on this video because I had seen the mural in Providence, as my dad drove me through the area. Even though I saw it a month ago I recognized it immediately. Truly amazing artwork!

the knight and the queen give me life

I clicked this video really fast when I saw a familiar boy in a cape. I live really close to your first mural and cannot help but stare and admire it every time I drive by it. It’ll be nice to drive by and know the artist for a change. Beautiful work!

UPDATE: I drove past that mural I was speaking so fondly of and they painted the entire side of the building a depressing grey. The start of an incredible journey completely erased and disregarded. :(

This has inspired me so much, I’ve always wanted to design custom shoes and design murals (I’m not old enough yet) but this makes me just want to go out there and draw

I took some photos of my son and his friend for their LHS senior portraits in front of the gorilla/pirate mural, they didn’t use those for the yearbook but they loved those photos. I think it was September 2015 when we did the photos.

Man I think “graffiti” being illegal is just ridiculous I mean imagine how much more colorful a city would look covered in art like yours. It would really inspire people.

YO I’ve seen that super boy mural in person, IT WAS SO GOOD! I love it so much! Your work is so fantastic!
