Your KIA Soul looks great.  Nice job!

Great job.  I have a similar model 2 Gen with roof rack and 65” long basket.  It’s great for securing camping gear and keeps the back nice and light.

Mel I think you're doing a great job with your car maintenance video's. I've learned more from you searching for My Kia Soul + than I have from some of these supposed experts. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Thanx :) I’m gonna get the awning you have.. I have my little soul stormtrooper ❤

HiMel!do you get wind noise from the basket.

Another question:  Is the basket perfectly centered on the roof?  It appears to be placed more to the awning side, correct?  Could the awning mounting be placed farther inward so the basket could be centered?  Just me and my sense of balance....  Thanks!

My Kia Soul is not garaged but normally parked in 24/7 security.  Otherwise, it is exposed.  What are your thoughts about securing the roof basket, awning, and mounting brackets?  Do the brackets come with locks and have you considered any methods to lock the awning to the basket?  Thanks for your good ideas and for presenting them.
