Thank God Andrew isn't on all the time try to sell Beauden to People who actually want to see the truth he is finished has been at least 3 years and when was the last time he was player of the year if he was such a Wonderful bloke and really put the Jersey and Country first he would Retire it's unbelievable how this guy keeps getting picked

In the third test against the Boks when Ardie went off the team was a bit rudderless meaning there wasn’t a real leader on the field. That’s why Cody Taylor and Beauden were brought in for the fourth test to give the team more leadership around the park and help them adjust when the Boks started doing something different. Experienced players are very valuable in the test arena and you can look to the fourth test when Blackadder and Sacha Feinberg had a little altercation in the first couple of minutes. Sacha was getting stuck into Blackadder and was fired up and who was there to tell Sacha to cool his jets? Jesse Kriel was in his ear calming him down. Yes the ABs didn’t win with Taylor and Beauden in the team but it’s proven teams with relatively fewer test caps need an old head there to help calm things down and help the less experienced players keep their composure when they’re under the pump. Look at the 2019 WC semi final for instance against England, Hansen elected to leave out Ben Smith which was one of the biggest selections errors ever by an NZ coach, why? Because those flashy less experienced wingers they had in Bridge and Reece went to water when the pressure was on from England and what was needed was an old head like Ben Smith who’d been there before. That’s the importance in my opinion of experience in a side and these coaches like Rennie get that, I don’t know why it’s so hard for these pundits to understand.

We seemed to lack a genuine "fetcher" in this last series. Big Jim the difference or Karifi could have helped us here. Having a good fetcher in the mix can do more to unsettle an opposition breakdown than anything else imo. Keeps them second guessing and forces more players into the ruck to protect/defend it.

Rennie just like Razor did...Picking his Buddies...Nice guys who enjoy a Cuddle and Hug.."his words"..Rugby...now thats different

All great sports persons are able to win by having a clear and consistent mind.
The AB”s of old, had that engraved in their souls.
Possibly and unfortunately selection and some injuries are curtailing this.
But you will keep the Bled
The wallabies, our wallabies,
Have to many brain farts to get the job done
I hope it is a really good series
Because both of us need to get our heads out of our arses if we dream to bring back Bill………
Funny watching you guys
Keep up the good work
Go the wobblies

To leave out Leicester will risk him going back overseas - come on  Rennie

Leicester should be playing

Dave Rennie is the Mili Vanili of coaching. Taking Razors formula & gets a pass for losing. Should’ve hired Les Kiss

lol its funny when people have an opinion based on visuals or interpretation of the game with out any significant stats to disprove what they are saying .......but hey people wanna hear journolists talk for some reason

Has there been ANY reason given why BB is in this squad, he played about fuck all Super rugby to get selected and played 40mins in Sth Africa...and now having not played any NPC and gets named ahead of Nararwa...it a joke.  Why is Carter/Sititi/ Parker named...how many chances do some get. I like this loose forward set up with Segner added. Putting BB in keeps the utility Fai'anganuku out. Lose this test in Auckland and things will hit the fan, need to win convincingly and by alot. Dump Jason Ryan, the scrum has not improved under him in the 3rd year!!

Not enough game time under his belt to pick him yet.  End of year tour perhaps.

I don't mind provided he gets a chance in the NH games. Bit worried that Rennie seems to prefer solid, unspectacular players with no X factor like ALB, Jacobson, Parker etc and doesn't have time for players like Tavatavanawi, Fainga'anuku, Narawa etc. Fainga'anuku (and Narawa) brings X factor and is versatile. Razor wasted time playing Cane, Perenara, Reece etc and it feels like Rennie is now wasting time with players past their best or who are his favourites, rather than picking on form as he said he would. He's lucky Australia have lost so many of their starting players as a full strength Wallabies likely beats the ABs at Eden Park.

Australia beat SA in south Africa in 2025 40 - 22. Full strength side. So the Australians had improved and this time it was in Australia. Australia is playing not a different brand just complete. South Africa same brand. Sorry

Same players different coaches, shows there is most likely government/corporate overreach going on here.

Big Jim playing 13 in NPC...

Big mistake
