“Too big! Too fast! Too strong! Too good!"

The poor man was too fast for his knees, like a super-charged race car with tires that can't handle that kind of power. But like the champion that he is, he has evolved and broadened his game. And bless him for that!

This man changed Chicago for a few years… brought back that love for the bulls

I’m incredibly jealous of the parallel universe where D Rose still runs the league.

For this short time this man had the entire nba roster looking around like what do you want me to do ?

Let's be honest, Drose is the epitome of what we want to be when we were young. Fast, strong, vicious, badass, humble.

I always shake my head when I hear Stephen A say that Westbrook is the most athletic point guard ever....Prime Derrick Rose was quicker and way more explosive than Westbrook

The tough layup on Wade and Bron is a literal representation of what Rose was doing to the League

Rose pre injuries vs post is the most clear example of how bad injuries can affect everything! He was soooo unbelievably talented and athletic it’s watching an alien against average dudes.

D Rose’s name will forever be protected at each every basketball court around the world. We all respect his game and still to this day we still respect it

Remember, he was the youngest player to ever win an MVP.  An extraordinary talent.

I've never seen a player like him.  He pushed his body to the limit that physics allowed.  I guess in hindsight, it's not a surprise he succumbed to injuries.  His movements were violent and other-worldly.  Human bodies aren't supposed to move the way Derrick Rose moved.  Once in a lifetime player.  We only saw the surface of his potential.  A guy whose "prime" was 22 years old and still an all-time great.

he literally played like an actual bull, the ferociousness of a bull and the way they run kinda similar too

You can see how he got hurt.  His whole game was built of explosion.    I’m glad he changed his game and was able to carve out a career.   I’m glad he’s gonna be with the knicks as well.

Funny thing is… not only was it prime d rose, but it was prime Stacy king as an announcer. Definitely one of the best point guards ever. I saw all these moments live…

Dude looks like he’s moving in fast forward...on a very short list of the most explosive athletic talents the league has ever seen

Almost feels like he was a super-human at that point. I've never seen a man move like that. There is no one comparable to him. He is not one of the generation type of guy, he is one of the century type of guy.

Looking at his playstyle now, you'd never guess how ferocious he was. It's not weird that all the ligaments in his knees peaced tf out. He was ABUSING those things.

Dude has the best highlight reels of anybody, just on another level, like MJ and AI had a baby.

DRose bullied the league from the point guard position.  MVP year of DRose was the definition unguardable.
