SOLO GAMES | Journaling, Tarot-Based, and More 😍

**Note, for simplicity I am providing itch.io links for most of these games which will take you to the downloadable versions. If you want physical, most of the itch.io descriptions also include links to where you can buy physicals or I encourage you to look for indie game shops in your area or country to see if they carry physical copies. :)

the idea to use oracle cards is a game changer thank you ! I'm a rule follower and if a game doesn't suggest something outside of the box I don't even think about it but as soon as you mentioned the oracle cards I realized how awesome they would be for some of the simpler rpgs I have that might need just a little nudge.

As a child I played board games alone (pretending to be all the players). This speaks to that little girl. I will look into this. Another nice alternative to crossword puzzles in the cold long winters. Never done RPG but I would like to learn more. Please share more like this. Loved this video!

Oh my god!! Ive been solo rp'ing for years, didnt know there was a tarot enthusiast/ solo rp overlap (makes complete sense though).

This is the best video I've found on Solo Journaling RPGs! You're so fun to listen to! You have the widest selection of ones I personally am interested in. Thank you so much for this video! <3

I found your channel through this video, as it was recommended to me since i'm getting into reading journaling and thinking about doing junk journaling, but omg this totally speaks to me. I would absolutely love to see a video where you start a game and do a session of Storyfold. The dice that came with it are soo pretty and the art, chef's kiss. My friend recommended One thousand year old vampire too, so I'll probably start with that one for my own first try. honestly all of these would be fun to see you do the beginning where you make your character and maybe the first 1 or 2 prompts to get an idea of how they are.

One of my besties and I have been talking about solo RPGs, journaling, and writing over the last week so this is perfect timing. ❤❤❤

I love this! I am almost a year in playing my first DnD campaign and it’s so fun. I love the creativity and depth it has brought into my life. Thank you for sharing these. I wrote so many down because they sounded so fun.

Love this so much!! I just started researching solo rpg's recently, and this is so massively helpful to this newbie. Thank you! 💖

You may or may not have realized this, but the Auspex link you provided is actually a free download of a different divination game by the same author. Instead of using tarot, it uses observations of bird behaviors as a divination tool (super unique and cool). I bet it would be super fun for you to practice with your crow friends that visit your house!

Gotta add Arcana Flow: Echoes of the Wood to this list! its a board game/meditative journey for both solo and collaborative play by Una in Space. it comes with its own oracle deck but can easily be used with whatever deck/divination system you have. i backed it on kickstarter a while ago and just recently got it in hands. its gorgeously made and seems really fun and versatile for any spiritual practice!

It says alot about you (all good) that you were able to keep my attention for 1h30 minutes! Thank you so much for putting this together. I took a lot of notes as I plan to start exploring this amazing world of tarot + solo RPG. Thanks again! --a new subscriber

Im so glad you made a video about this. I bought Koriko right after your last video mentioning it! It's such fun.

I totally missed this video when it dropped.... Lisa, could we get an updated video with ay Solo Games you've found since then? Ones that are tarot-centric or where a tarot deck can be used would be amazing, since I love the idea of using these games to have new ways of using my decks

@lovevocaloid1995 11 months ago

Love love love this video ! I really enjoy solo rpgs but didn't know some were running with tarot cards ! It's such a beautiful way to combine a hobby and my love for tarot :) Really thanks a lot Lisa for this video <3 Geeks forever 💯

Thank you for this video! I’ve never really explored solo RPGs and I’m so excited to jump in. I’m feeling inspired!

...and now I'm off to dive back into Dwelling! Omg LISA I have so many tabs open right now lol! The dark half of the year will be so fun 🖤

This was such a fun video! Thank you for taking the time to do it. I would love to see more of this in the deck roulette series 😊. I've never played any type of rpg, I was not a child of the 90s, lol, but many of these sound so cool, especially the story fold one and the one where we get to explore space with aliens 😀 I love the idea of playing with other people.
