The View, 5-23-07. The infamous feud between Rosie & Elisabeth from start to finish. Sadly, this turned out to be Rosie's last day.

this was great TV. two women fighting, but not about a man or stupid gossip, but about war.

I loved Joy during this. “Isn’t there a commercial on this show?” LMAO

Always loved Joy " let me do it, I'm okay arguing with Elisabeth"

Well actually Rosie was already leaving at the end of the season. After this fight she left even sooner. I think its a shame that she left, IMO.

Ive always agreed with Rosie on this one... "You said nothing and thats cowardly" Elisabeth was a coward and refused to back up and defend Rosie and say to the world, she is a troop supporter...

Okay this is trivial, but I couldn't help but chuckle at the petty grievances joy had against Bush like "choking on a pretzel" and "not correctly pronouncing the word 'nuclear.'"

thanks God Elisabeth stopped co-hosting

That's some damn fine television...poor Joy wanted them to go to commercial, but the people in the booth were like, "Oh, helllll no"

Joy's look towards Rosie (5:41)...Classic.

I burst out laughing how Rosie shut Sherri all the wy down when she was trying diffuse the situation trying cut to commercial. Rosie was like it aint about be no commercial today until I get my point across. Only got three weeks left best believe I'm going speak my mind LOL.

The good ol days before whoopi cut off every argument to go to commercial

Whatever their personal views, I still think it's sad to watch a friendship disintegrate so quickly.

Elisabeth just repeats crap she hears but Rosie sees things for what they ACTUALLY are which drives Elisabeth nuts and makes The View worthwhile. They go at it which is entertaining and why they were allowed to go at it for so long.

Barbara said she called Bill and screamed at him to go to commercials, but he said he was afraid that if he did then Rosie would just walk out and not return for the rest of the episode.
