2026 College Decision Reactions + Where I'm Going!

All four years of my high school career, the fruits of which were revealed to me over the span of about a month. It was certainly an emotional roller coaster, from the excitement of unlikely acceptances, to the disappointment of Ivy Day results, and back to high spirits after I snatched a T10 acceptance at quite literally the last moment. Go on this journey with me and stay until the end to find out where I'm going!

What really warms my heart about this video is the fact that he took time out to add charitable causes he believes in that we can donate to. Wherever he ends up, he will be grand as his humanity will sustain him no matter what.

Ivy League school rejection does not necessarily define who you are. I went to UCI then got into UCSF for grad school. My son applied to only six schools and was accepted to all. He wasn't looking for an Ivy League at all. He asked all my friends who went to Ivy League schools and found out that what counts is what you do after you graduate. At the end of the day, we as a group of professionals went to different colleges, came out, and worked together, and now we're trying to retire together and enjoy life. Congratulations and good luck in college.

Lokwey was in the same boat as you, got rejected from all the ivys, and was really hoping for stanford, and got rejected, but yeah got into berkeley for engineering, so yeah looking back, I was really sad, but now that i'm here....I legit couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. Congrats on stanford!!!!

(PS u gonna love Bay area Transit, its the best, way better than IE transit) my major is civil engineering, so lol

Congrats man! Getting into Stanford is the best thing that could’ve happened to you, especially before your 18th birthday. I’m going to go through the college admissions process this fall, so it’s going to be a wild ride :)
