I used to grow my potatoes in old, used tires, fill up the tire with dirt and seeds and water. Then when the plant grew a bit taller than the tire,  I would add another tire on top of the first tire and add more dirt, then when the plant grew taller than the second tire I would add more dirt and so forth...until I had about 5 tires stacked tall. Once the spuds were ready to harvest I would take off the last tire and harvest those potatoes. After eating those potatoes I would take the next tire off etc. I used to yield about 25 pounds of potatoes all together for each 5 tire stack.

If you start with only half the tube with compost you add more compost as it grows more roots means more potatoes 🥔 👍🏻

When you clear the potato towers, do it in a bucket or on a plastic sheet - easier to collect and reuse the soil. Less messy!! ❤

Dude!  That's amazing.  That's about the amount of potatoes I use in a month!  And so big!

I really liked the rice water boost

Now that's the potatoe harvest I'm looking for❤

I use re-usable fabric shopping bags to achieve the same result. Much cheaper than waiting for your three fans to break/ rust/ fall apart so that you can use the  cover, and you don't need styrofoam, netting, plastic wire or zip ties. Just a fabric bags, soil and a few rooting potatoes. Easy-peasy....

In the beginning of this video it only shows the outside green mesh being put together but I noticed when the potatoes are being planted that there's an interior darker colored mesh between the dirt and the light green mesh.  Something was left out in editing apparently.  I was wondering why the dirt wasn't pouring out all over. given the larger weave of the light green mesh, until I noticed that extra interior lining.

Kickass. I have some potatoes. I'm gonna make some potato salad. :-)

Thank you for showing us how to grow potatoes in these grow baskets!

Very good harvest!

Wow! I've never seen such long green beans.  Are you able to give us all the information on what you use, how to care for them and when do you know its ready to pick? In other words talk us through what you are doing? I would be most grateful.  Thank you.

They grow best around mountains. The minerals from the mountains help the soil gain the correct nutrients for them and make sure to grow sunflowers to reduce metals in the soil if there was any construction or too many metals in the soil. Growing too many beans, soybeans, or lentils will make them grow small. Potatoes can be ground up and used for dumplings outside or for the inside of regular dumplings. Other vegetables are still needed for a good diet. They can also be used soups instead of dumplings and bread when mixed with flour.

I am so happy seeing your potato bears many fruits. I am so inspired and motivated to plant my own potato very soon. GOD BLESS YOU:trophy-yellow-smiling::finger-red-number-one::medal-yellow-first-red:❤❤🙏🙏

Fantastic thank you ❤❤❤❤❤

So smart idea, thanks, you make gardening full of creation.

Really appreciate watching this

The irrigation system of the Yard long beans was a major upgrade than traditional methods
GREAT VIDEO!!!

Looks like a great crop of potatoes from just those few plants, maybe 5-6lbs each plant?
