This time, it's a video of me riding a local train on the Atae Line.
The Atae Line connects Kitayamagata and Atae, and all trains except for one round trip between Sagae and Atae run directly to the Ou Main Line and depart from and arrive in Yamagata.
The trains that run on this line are Kiha 101 type, the only ones that run here and elsewhere in Japan, and as it is one of the busiest lines in Yamagata, it operates with a maximum of six cars during the morning commute.

昔は急行の間合いでキハ58の10両編成も走っていましたね。元々朝は長編成が走る路線でしたね。今では6両編成（実質5両分以下）まで短くなってしまいました。
それと、寒河江と羽前山辺で増解結が頻繁に行われていましたので、そんな時は所要時間が今より掛かっていました。
また、この路線、県庁所在地に沢山行けます。山形ー羽前金沢ー羽前長崎ー羽前高松、一路線で1時間以内に遠くは九州まで行った気分になれるかもです・
山形線ワンマン列車は１両目ドア後ろ乗り前降り
仙山線と車掌が乗っている列車は全部のドアが開きます
